C# vs dotnet

what is .net framework and how it is different from C-sharp some developer who are absolutely new to C-sharp don't know the difference so in this lecture i'm going to talk little bit C-sharp and .net framework  C-sharp is programming language .net is a framework for building applications on the windows .net frameworks is not limited to C-sharp there are  different languages that can target .net framework and build applications using that framework examples are F-sharp or Vb.net okay but what exactly is .net framework .net framework consists of two component one is call CLR or common language runtime and the other is a class library for  building applications
